Our school, along with all state-funded schools in the UK, received a free defibrillator from the Department of Education. The defibrillator will protect pupils, staff and visitors to the schools, including local communities who use school facilities.

This is available for use within school, but could also be used by the local community if there was an emergency during school hours.

If you have an emergency and suspect cardiac arrest, ring 999 and they will advise you which defibrillator is closest to your location and the code required to access it.
